Born & Raised · 2003–2022
Ottawa, Canada 🇨🇦
Home Base · Foundation
Where I grew up, learned to lead (camp counsellor, 4 summers), and decided I wanted more than a conventional path. Ottawa shaped my work ethic but made it clear I needed to see the world to understand what I actually wanted.
2022–Present · University
Halifax, Nova Scotia 🇨🇦
Dalhousie University · Co-op
Dalhousie gave me structure, a commerce education, and two terms at Marsh McLennan. Halifax is where I learned what professional life actually looks like — and started building things on the side to scratch the itch I couldn't shake.
Lesson: Real growth happens outside the classroom. The co-op program accelerated me more than any course.
Summer 2024
Vancouver, BC 🇨🇦
Exploration · Tech Scene
First time really experiencing Canada's west coast tech culture. Attended Luma AI events, met founders, and got a taste of what a different kind of professional environment felt like. Vancouver made me want more of that energy.
Lesson: Showing up to events alone in a city you don't know is one of the highest-ROI things you can do.
Jan 2026 – May 2026 · Now
Strasbourg, France
Exchange Semester · Building
Living alone in a French city where I didn't speak the language, navigating European bureaucracy, making friends from 30+ countries, and somehow also co-founding two companies. The most character-building thing I've ever done and the most productive period of my life simultaneously.

Building
Lesson: You learn more about yourself in 4 months abroad than in 4 years at home. Discomfort is the curriculum.

Backpacking · Solo + Group
UK, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy (with Sebby), Prague, Spain (Barcelona + Marbella for a concert April 8), and more. Each trip planned differently — solo backpacking, Dal friends, exchange group travel. Learning to be flexible and move fast.

Ottawa → Summer Co-op
Flying home May 11. Starting summer co-op search the moment I land. Ottawa base until a role takes me somewhere new.

Gap Year · Roaming Builder
After graduation, I'm leaving with a backpack and a plan. Travel while building Luni, funding the journey through my own products. No fixed destination, no fixed end date. The goal is to reach a point where I've built something worth scaling — or earned the kind of experience you can't get in an office.
This isn't a break from ambition. It's the purest expression of it.
Summer 2024
Vancouver Luma AI Events
Vancouver, BC
First time showing up solo to tech events in a city I didn't know. Met founders, early-stage builders, and people who thought about AI the way I did. Confirmed that the best way to learn is to be in the room where things are happening.
Spring 2026
European AI Hackathons
Europe (TBD — April 2026)
Actively looking for Cursor and AI hackathons in Europe before I fly home. Hacktrack-eu, Luma Cursor community. The goal is to build something real in 48 hours and meet people who operate at the frontier.
2024–2025
Dalhousie Investment Society
Halifax, NS
Weekly market discussions, EMC meetings, PM insights into real trades and portfolio strategy. Sharpened how I think about markets and got comfortable presenting investment theses to a room.

AI Meetups & Builder Events
Wherever I Am
I look for Luma events in every city I visit. If there's an AI meetup within an hour, I go. Some of the most valuable conversations I've had about product and building have happened at events I almost didn't attend.
